Arguably one of the greatest RnB album’s of this generation. Before the album was released the single “Girls Need Love” set the tone for running theme to come. We simply want, crave, and need that intense affection. The love and lust throughout this album is beautiful but also complicated. The transitions throughout take you on multifaceted journeys of relationships and grips you in your feels. From the consideration of new love in “Potential”, to the situationship with “Anna Mae”, to the toxicity in "I'll Kill You", to the broken girl that isn’t enough in “fun girl”, as Usher once said “there’s always that one person that will always have your heart” and they occupy multiple spaces within this body of art.

What I love most about this album is the raw vulnerability of expressing the desire and passion for love and lust, my top 5 is a combination of both.
