The global anticipation for this new album has been inspiring and electrifying. Adele is making waves once again with her brand new single ‘Easy On Me” that has charted number 1 for 4 consecutive weeks and has already sold out her live show in Hyde Park without us hearing the rest of the album, EPIC! I also realised while analysing her catalogue she is one of the rare few artists of our generation to obtain such a soaring level of success without any features, LEGENDARY!

Throughout the roll out of this new album I have noticed a more free, fun, present, confident and unapologetic side of her during her lives and public appearances that I’ve never seen before or admittedly may have never noticed. Nevertheless, it’s beautiful and I’m loving this side of her as it’s evident from her interviews that throughout her marriage, motherhood and since her divorce that she's been embarking on a personal journey filled with growth and self love. Life has a way of taking us all through a transition especially while we’re en route to a new chapter.

In preparation for what’s to come I thought I would take myself on a musical journey back to the beginning before the next big milestone album is released and it reminded me of my own growth spurt approaching my 30's. Reflecting on the different relationships, friendships, as well all career changes it was definitely a humbling yet honourable moment in my life and I felt that this project deserved the same thought process.

From ‘Chasing Pavements’ at ‘19’ to ‘Love in the dark’ at ‘25’ there is undeniably an immense growth internally and professionally. While overturning each milestone album you can hear it to her tone, her passion, her writing and in her stories as she evolves through the pain. Her ability to lay her scars bare musically with such grace and raw vulnerability aides her stardom. It’s that North London ‘hometown glory’ etiquette within her deliverance that enables her to remain relatable to us all.

I absolutely cannot wait to fully indulge in this album. I believe she’ll unlock more levels of wisdom and unravel wounds, while hopefully restoring hope and healing to us all. Until then with less than 24hrs to go below is my list of 30 before 30 favourite tracks (in no particular order).
